“Exploring Neuroscience: A Quiz for Future Biotechnology”

The academic event “Exploring Neuroscience: A Quiz for Future Biotechnology” was successfully conducted on 21st March 2025 with the generous support of the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) and in collaboration with the WhiteHouse Innovators Club. Strategically aligned with Brain Awareness Week, the event aimed to enhance understanding of the brain and its influence on scientific progress, particularly in the field of biotechnology.
This innovative quiz competition served as an engaging platform for exploring the intersection of neuroscience and biotechnology. Designed for students and young researchers, the event facilitated meaningful discussions on how brain science is driving advancements in diagnostics, therapeutics, and bioengineering.
A total of five teams from diverse academic institutions participated in the quiz. The competition featured a range of challenging rounds covering:
- Neuroanatomy
- Biotechnology, Microbiology
- Arts
- Sports
- Recent Trends
- Latest News
- Biochemistry
In addition to fostering healthy competition, the event aimed to:
- Promote awareness of interdisciplinary research in brain science and biotechnology
- Encourage scientific curiosity and critical thinking among students
- Strengthen collaborative learning and teamwork
- Motivate participants to consider career and research paths in neurobiotechnology
The event concluded with an award ceremony honoring the top three performing teams. All participants received certificates of participation, and special recognition was given to the quiz masters, evaluators, and organizers for their contributions. Feedback from attendees highlighted the event’s effectiveness in merging scientific knowledge with interactive learning.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to IBRO for their continued support in neuroscience outreach and education. We also thank all participating teams, faculty advisors, volunteers, and the WhiteHouse Innovators Club for making this event a resounding success.
