KCGRL has successfully installed the Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) system of Thermo Fisher Scientific for clinical resolution. This structure contains Ion S5 sequencer, Ion Chef Instrument, Torrent Server, Ion One Touch 2 Instrument and Ion One Touch ES instrument. NGS is a high-throughput approach enabling rapid sequencing of the base pairs in DNA or RNA. With a wide range of applications such as gene expression profiling, chromosome counting, detection of epigenetic changes and molecular analysis, NGS is lashing discovery and empowering the future of personalized medicine.
The purpose of having NGS is to provide a comprehensive selection of tools with the highest quality for every budget, to reach the next breakthrough.
